On September 1, the province's first leisure sea fishing demonstration base - Xixiakou provincial leisure sea fishing demonstration base was officially inaugurated. Wang Shouxin, director of the Provincial Ocean and Fishery Department, Yu Chong, director of the Provincial Tourism Bureau, Tang Guangyun, Jiang Shan, Zhang Hongpu and Zhou Chengkai, leaders of Weihai and our city, attended the inauguration ceremony.

Xixiakou provincial leisure sea fishing demonstration base with a total investment of 80 million yuan, including a leisure fishing club with fishing culture exchange, fishing supplies display and trading, 15,000 acres of natural fishing waters, a fishing boat dock, more than 40 sea fishing boats and more than 500 coastal fishing positions, set fishing, sightseeing, catering and other functions in one.

It is understood that, in order to promote the development of the province's leisure fisheries, the province plans to use three years to focus on the planning and construction of 15 provincial leisure sea fishing demonstration base in the province, so that the sea fishing industry has become a new highlight of marine tourism.
